Clangers for Good winning clubs

Major Winner:
$50k donation

Mt Barker Football Club – South Australia

This much needed funding will be used to upgrade the existing visitor change rooms to be more inclusive for female participants at the club. Currently the Mount Barker Women and girls have to share the home changeroom with the opposition, separated only by a partition.
 

The prize money will allow the club to install cubicle showers, update fixtures and make the changerooms more welcoming for both home and opposition teams.

Minor Winner:
$25k donation

Brothers Football Club – Queensland

Brothers Football Club will use the funding to provide amenities for their youth girls cohort. Currently the girls use an old building with decommissioned toilets (septic tank and bed only remain).
 

The project will recommission these toilets to provide amenities for the club, opposition club, and school youth girls' footy. Currently, all girls and women get changed in the clubhouse located 150-200 metres away from the second field.

Wanderers Football Club – Northern Territory

The Wanderers Football Club were proudly the first Women's and Girls chartered club in the Northern Territory. This cements their commitment to ensuring equal opportunities to our Women's and Girls participants and teams.
 

Funding will be used to upgrade their female shower and changerooms at the clubrooms with the installation of a shower cubicle. This additional privacy will ensure that the club can adequately cater to the needs of the diverse group of female players.
