What's covered
We cover garden borders, sealed pathways and paved or concreted floor areas at the insured address as part of the building for loss or damage caused by insured events.
What’s not covered
There are some instances where you will not be covered. That is, where loss or damage is caused by, connected with or arises from any part of the building not being in good condition or having wear, tear or deterioration from ordinary use or ordinary effects of natural forces. We also do not cover some losses where building works are not complete.
There is also no cover for garden borders in certain insured events (e.g. Flood, Storm and Storm Surge) or under optional ‘Accidental damage at home’ cover, which you can read about along with other exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement.
