Contents temporarily removed
COVERED
Protect your contents when they have been temporarily removed from your insured address with AAMI’s Home Contents Insurance cover.
What’s covered
When you have contents cover with us, we’ll cover for loss or damage caused by an insured event if they are temporarily removed from the insured address to another residence in Australia in which you are temporarily residing for no more than 90 consecutive days, or when kept in a bank deposit box within Australia during the period of insurance.
The most we will pay for any one incident is 25% of the contents sum insured.
What’s not covered
We do not cover loss or damage caused by theft without forced entry into the temporary residence. We do not cover loss or damage to contents in a motorised vehicle, mobile home or trailer. You can learn more about this coverage and further exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement.
