Removal of debris (contents)
COVERED
If an insured event has occurred and your contents have experienced damage, then there are instances where the cost of removing this debris may or may not be covered under AAMI Home Contents Insurance.
What’s covered
When you are covered for loss or damage to your contents from an insured event, we will cover the reasonable and necessary costs to dispose of the damaged contents. The most we will pay for any one incident is up to 10% of the contents sum insured.
What’s not covered
We do not cover the cost of disposal, storage or removal of anything not defined as contents. You can learn more about any other exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement.
