There are some instances where wall paint and paper will be covered under AAMI’s Home Contents Insurance cover, but only if the policy is in place for a unit in New South Wales. Learn more about this coverage below.
What’s covered
We cover wall paint and paper as contents if your unit is located in New South Wales.
What’s not covered
We will not cover any item which is legally part of a unit building according to the relevant State or Territory law (e.g., NSW Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, Strata Schemes Management Regulation 2016). You are responsible for determining whether a fitting is legally part of a unit building according to the relevant State or Territory law.
