What's not covered

Loss, damage to or liability arising from or connected with the roots of trees, shrubs and plants.

We do cover damage to the building and contents, depending on the cover you have, caused by:

• liquid leaking or overflowing from pipes or drains that are blocked or damaged by these roots to the extent it is covered by the insured event ‘Escape of liquid’;
•  roots from a fallen tree to the extent it is covered under the insured event ‘Impact’.
